Core Music Standards: Performance Practice Plan & Rehearsal Reflection

For general music Orff ensembles, recorder, or beginning band, I am sharing a student-centered practice plan and rehearsal reflection. The reflection can be used multiple times in the course of their timeline. Aligning to the CMS Performance standard, the students can give reasoning for why they made their song selection for practice, develop strategies, and reflect on how the elements of music can inform a performance outcome. I have developed this to shift my own instruction from skill-based to process-driven.
