This was exactly what I was looking for! Has awesome kid friendly language so they can do their self assessments. I love the option of a neutral face with a question mark instead of a sad face for not getting it.
I love that you gave multiple options to represent how children could feel about the specific statement. The faces are a great visual to all students.
Description
I have created a self assessment for each of the Core Competencies of the new BC curriculum. They are written in language that K-2 students will understand.
Since using these assessments and going to a few workshops, I have made some changes. The first six pages are the original self assessments. The following six pages are the same, although instead of a sad face for "Not Yet" there is now a neutral face with a question mark above it. I found that my students didn't want to colour in a sad face. :)
I have also added 18 pages of self assessments of individual "I can" statements with a space for a drawing and a space for a written response. Eg. "I am a good friend when I ..." and "I am good at ..."
