    Description

This bundle includes 35 holiday coordinate plane mystery pictures, all in Quadrant I. Mystery pictures are a fun way for students to practice their graphing skills. They just plot the coordinate pairs in order, connecting them with a line until it tells them to stop the line they are working on and start a new one. Once all of the coordinate pairs are plotted, students have a fun holiday themed picture to color.

These mystery pictures can be a fun addition to your math lessons around the holidays, or they can be used as an extra for students who finish other assignments early. They would also be a fun activity for when there is a substitute.

Answer keys are included. All mystery pictures are in Quadrant I only, and use only whole numbers.

Use a pair of perpendicular number lines, called axes, to define a coordinate system, with the intersection of the lines (the origin) arranged to coincide with the 0 on each line and a given point in the plane located by using an ordered pair of numbers, called its coordinates. Understand that the first number indicates how far to travel from the origin in the direction of one axis, and the second number indicates how far to travel in the direction of the second axis, with the convention that the names of the two axes and the coordinates correspond (e.g., 𝘹-axis and 𝘹-coordinate, 𝘺-axis and 𝘺-coordinate).
