Coordinate Geometry Proofs Project Booklet
Description
In this project, students will create a book based on Coordinate Geometry Proofs. Their book will be based on how you can use coordinate geometry to prove various aspects of shapes. This book will cover the following proofs:
1. Proving that a figure is isosceles, equilateral, or a square
2. Proving that a quadrilateral is a parallelogram
3. Proving that a triangle is a right triangle
4. Proving that a parallelogram is a rectangle
5. Proving that a parallelogram is a rhombus
6. Proving that a quadrilateral is a trapezoid
Students will create a cover page, table of contents, an author's page, and content pages. They are also given knowledge of the various methods they are able to use to solve each proof.
A rubric, coordinate grids, and extra credit is included!
