Description

This *Boom deck is great to use as a companion to the James Dean story ,Pete and the Cool Caterpillar. It uses auto play audio for introduction, directions and closing. It will review number recognition and counting skills below 10. This deck will also be great to use as a spring resource or to compliment your life cycle of a butterfly science unit. It even has a fun surprise gif and the end:) So many uses for one great deck!

*New to Boom Cards? Please read:
Boom cards became VERY popular for long distance learning, however teachers find them super motivating in the classroom as well. Here is why~Boom Cards are digital full color task cards! Many have audio and moveable objects and even moving gifs or video links! Teacher's like them because there’s no need for prepping anything since they are completely digital. Students also receive instant feedback which means no teacher grading! With an optional "Premium" membership, teacher's can access all types of data on individual students or the class as a whole, helping fine tune the instruction of a skill. Clicking on the "Preview" link will allow you to play the first four slides of each deck for free. This is a great tool to help you get an idea if the resource is what you are looking for:)

Boom cards bring technology into the classroom as well as bridge the gap for long distance learning if needed. Boom Learning allows boom card decks to be assigned with “Fast Pin” directly from Google Classroom or Seesaw with no membership to Boom Learning. When you complete your purchase through TPT you will download a PDF file with a link that will take you to the game. You will be prompted to create a free account.

Once purchased, make sure you are logged in to Boom Learning before clicking your link to redeem so the game will be accessible in your library. To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. Great to use on a whiteboard for whole group instruction. Please note: If you use an older iOS device you will need to switch to a different device to use Boom Learning.

For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with "Fast Pins," (play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards). Fast Play is always a free way for students to engage with Boom Cards decks. For additional assignment options you'll need a premium account.  Copy and paste this link below to get 10% off any Boom membership. I earn points when you redeem this link.

Count to 100 by ones and by tens.
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
Count to answer “how many?” questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1-20, count out that many objects.
