This yummy vanilla cupcakes recipe will help children practise their maths skills while engaging in fun and meaningful work. To identify the measurements of ingredients, students must first solve equations. Then they can cook up a delicious treat!
There are also extension activities included in this resource, where students will calculate the amount of ingredients needed to double the recipe, and will compare their calculations to 'what's available in the kitchen' to see what they need to buy.
