Description

This resource is intended to teach conversation skills to individuals that have difficulty participating in conversations. Using conversational scripts can be an effective way to teach turn taking, topic maintenance, asking/answering questions, and much more. Visual scripts can be a helpful tool that provides your students with age-appropriate and socially appropriate words and phrases to use during social scenarios. These visual scripts are appropriate for upper elementary students through high school students as they are presented in a smart phone texting screen.

There are also blank text bubbles for independent and spontaneous conversations as well. If your students have difficulty knowing how to participate in a conversation, use these blank scripts to practice or “rehearse” a social scenario. This will give them the language they need in order to be a successful communicator!
