Description
Are your students struggling with finding topics to talk about? The Conversation Starter Topics for Speech and Language resource solves this problem. It provides students with a list of topics that they can discuss with you, their peers, or their friends and family. Once a topic is selected, the student can ask and answer WH questions around that specific topic. Ideally the students should be exposed to different topics throughout the week so that they are not always talking about the same thing. However, sometimes some teachers prefer to talk about the same thing until the students master the topic. In either case, you can help the students choose from the list. This resource supports students in having conversations around different topics and not always the same few topics. This resource is simple to read and understand especially for students who are visual learners. It will prepare and support the students in their Social Skills goals.
