Continents and Oceans Geography for Primary Grades
- PDF
- Easel Activity
Description
Learning the names and identifying the 7 continents and 5 oceans seems like an easy task for adults but can be overwhelming to students. That’s why this geography resource came into being. The songbook for class singing/chanting along with the student version will help “fix” those names and shapes into the primary brain. There are other tasks that could be set up as a series of rotating stations or done as individual lessons. You’ll get worksheets that can be used as assessments, also.
Here’s what’s included:
⭐ Teacher and student books for “I’ve Got the Whole World in My Hands”
⭐ Information to share about continents with a QR Coded video link included
⭐ 3 short stories or poems on the continents to share
⭐ Colored or black and white continent outlines in 2 versions
⭐ 3 worksheets usable as assessments or independent work on continents and oceans
⭐ QR Coded links to learn more about the continents and oceans with follow-up task included
