Description
Are you searching for a step-by-step context clues PowerPoint that can be used to introduce context clues to your students in a way that will grab their attention? You've come to the right place! This 49-slide PowerPoint begins by introducing the 5 types of context clues to students. The five types of context clues include: definitions, synonym clues, antonym (contrast) clues, inference clues, and example clues.
The last half of the PowerPoint contains 14 multiple-choice practice slides. Students read the sentence or paragraph, and then determine the meaning of the underlined word. Words in this section include "melancholy", "inquisitive", "nonchalantly", and "liberated".
PowerPoints filled with visuals are ideal for teaching new content to students because PowerPoints tend to be highly engaging and concepts can be easily broken down into understandable chunks of information. But let's face it... they are so time-consuming to create! Fortunately, now you have an option of using one that is already complete, kid-tested, and ready to go for you!
