Description

In this Construct your own Gift Box Math Project, students will follow the instructions to design and construct their own personalized gift box! I organize a secret gift exchange in the classroom (perfect for the holidays or valentines day♥️), students bring a small gift and the material to build their own gift box, then construct & decorate it in the classroom! Students must write the measurements and dimensions of the box, including area of each face rectangle, total surface area and volume of the gift box (optional, depending no grade level).

Hits CC Standards 6.G.1, 6.G.2, 6.G.4, and 7.G.6 and TEKS 7.9A, 7.9C, 7.9D, 8.7B.
