This communication log is designed with the principles of Conscious Discipline in mind. Rather than reporting a student's daily "color" or "number", as used with many traditional forms of classroom management, this chart allows teachers to quickly inform parents of areas that their student is excelling in or needs to work on. The benefit of this system is that it provides parents and students with more specific feedback, it highlights both the strengths and weaknesses of students, and it encourages teachers to remember to send home more positive feedback to those students who earn it! This communication log includes a spot for teachers and parents to sign daily, a notes and important dates section.
