Composer Profiles - Music in the Classical Period

This supplemental text to Music in the Classical Period: 1700-1825 can be used in addition to the main text or as an independent biographical resource. Contained is a series of single page accessible biographies of prominent composers in the Classica Period. Composers include C.P.E. Bach, Christoph Willibald Gluck, Franz Joseph Haydn, J.C. Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Ludwig van Beethoven. A list of suggested listening of musical examples from each composer is included with their biographies.
