Description

These operations with complex numbers guided notes delve into the arithmetic of complex numbers. Students will add, subtract, multiply, and divide with complex numbers. They will learn about the conjugates of complex numbers and use this to find the moduli and quotients of complex numbers.

Within the guided notes students connect complex numbers arithmetic to arithmetic with polynomials, analyze errors in completed problems, create their own problems with a given answer, and practice the skills they have learned. Also included is an extended practice worksheet to give your students even more practice.
