Zip file of the complete Unit II in Astronomy.
This unit includes assessments - two quizzes (20 questions each); one Unit test (60 questions both PDF and in Word) scantron with answer keys (PDF). Assessments in this unit have been converted and can now (also) be given online and auto-graded through Easel. Graphics were added to each assessment to help with student understanding.
This unit also contains three comprehensive PowerPoint lessons with up-to-date information and slide sorter notes for the instructor; many graphics and short video links; three supporting review programs with separate PDF files for printable color student worksheets; student outline note/guidelines for each Power Point lesson; suggested textbook assignments using the "Astronomy Today" 8th edition Chaisson/McMillan (textbook not included); activator questions/syllabus and other activities for beginning astronomy students - and other PDF and Word files for student review/activities - including a student self-review "webquest" or Internet activity unit review on "The Solar System."
A 20-question interactive quiz/lesson review at Kahoot.it and a Quizizz.com online programs are also included as links in the last slide of each Power Point lesson.
A video worksheet folder is included which provides the video link to youtube in the title if the DVD is not available. Video worksheets include the Universe's "Our Place in Space," Space Probes: Secrets," and "Space Wars" and can be used when studying the topics in this unit.
