Compassion- Ability Awareness Smartboard Lesson

This six slide Smartboard lesson was created to go with my ability awareness lesson plan and centers also found in the Life on the Fly Store. It introduces the character trait of Compassion, especially as it relates to caring about those with disabilities. The sixth page of this notebook file is the sixth center for the ability awareness centers. It also features a link to an optional YouTube video that can be used as a "hook" for your lesson. I have taught this lesson wtih fourth and fifth graders, but could also be used with middle school students.
