What educators are saying

I used this when I went out on maternity leave and it helped ease my stress so much! the students were engaged and said this made it so much easier since i wasn't there! the sub also enjoyed it and was easily able to lead class!
I love this! I have to teach a comparative essay this year to my sophomores and didn't know where to start. I feel so much more confident now!

Description

This resource contains everything you need in order to teach the compare contrast essay! Tailored towards a literary analysis of two (or more!) texts, this resource is perfect for high school teachers, particularly grades 9-11, or advanced grade 8 classes.

The resources in this product are designed to walk students through the process of writing a compare contrast essay for two literary texts (poem, short story, novel, article, film, etc.). It also contains general templates for the purpose of comparing historical/current events, people, ideas, theories, etc.

These resources are most effective if students have already learned how to analyze a piece of literature and are beginning to make comparisons between two or more, in the form of an essay.

You will have access to BOTH the GOOGLE DRIVE LINK and the OFFLINE resources (ready-to-print PDFs). Using the Google Drive files in conjunction with Google Classroom is perfect for distance learning.
