Community Helpers-Who can help?

I wrote this book to help cover the Community Helpers topic of investigation in my preschool classroom. This book is a simple read along that will have have your students reading along by the end of the week. I used this book at opening circle eith the purpose of repeated reading. Most students were able to read it independently with picture cues provided on each page by Thursday . This book overs basic community helpers: Police officers, Teachers, Veterinarians, Mail carriers, fire fighters, doctors as well as EMT's. Helping to cover the topic, expand vocabulary, introduce simple sight-words and reading fluency through a fun read along.
