Description
A BUNDLED resource utilizing evidence based strategies created to help clinicians set up structured situations in order to facilitate effective communication skills that are needed for requesting items. These skills are particularly important for students with a receptive or expressive language delay, often associated with Autism.
Additional goals addressed: inferencing, problem-solving, articulation at the sentence level, sentence formation, sequencing, MLU expansion, joint attention, social skills, turn-taking, and vocabulary expansion.
16 character units included: 4 different boys, 4 different girls, boy/girl superhero, boy/girl elves, cupid, boy/girl leprechauns, witch.
8 animal units included: turkey, cat, rooster, penguin, dog, bee, frog, and bunny
4 food units included: tacos, burgers, pizzas, and sandwiches
Each unit includes:
- 2 different levels of visual support for requesting
- Level 1- visual guide and colored pieces to arrange while building
- Level 2- black and white pieces to color after the unit has been built (with reduced visual support).
- Vocabulary Expansion Guide (included in vol. 2&3)
