What educators are saying

My son loved using this resource. He was engaged in it and he had so much fun matching the picture to the actual items in the house and saying their names. It helped his vocabulary and now he has learnt to request using the name of the items and not just gesturing to it. Highly recommend.
I used this for my child to practice speech words. He is doing a good job with them and we use them daily for about 5 minutes each day.

Description

In this preschool-level vocabulary activity, you will find tried and true activities to encourage language development in early learners. I use these with my students with autism and other moderate to severe language delays to encourage language development.

The vocabulary activity includes 60 of the most common words toddlers learn as they are developing their expressive language. These can be used for expressive labeling and receptive identification. The pictures can also be used to create file folders for matching picture to picture. Datasheets are also included!

This resource includes flashcards for the following vocabulary: ball, book, train, bike, rain. bubbles, car, truck, boat, plane, baby, bowl, spoon, cup, sock, shoe, shirt, pants, hat, diaper, blanket, towel, house, tree, brush, light, bath, chair, table, bed, cookie, cracker, cheese, apple, banana, ice cream, cereal, milk, juice, water, dog, cat, fish, bird, duck, cow, horse, bunny, bear, pig, lion, elephant, giraffe, zebra, monkey, alligator, snake, frog, butterfly, bee.

This is a perfect resource for early childhood special educators, speech/language pathologists, and parents. If you are looking for a good place to start with autism speech therapy or activities for autistic toddlers, you are in the right place!
