Description

Teaching context clues? Need to assess students skills quickly and in a manner that is aligned to a new generation of tests? Use this set of 15 different Common Core Test Prep Exit Slips for grades 9-10. Each exit slip features an excerpt of a rigorous, grade-level appropriate literary or nonfiction text, many of which are Common Core text exemplars. Students must infer the meaning of vocabulary in context and support their answers with the correct piece of evidence. Each exit slips contains one short passage and two to four multiple choice questions. The wording and style of the questions are aligned to a new generation of standardized test items to ensure student success. Also would work great as a bellringer or quick quiz.
