Description

This collection of Excel spreadsheets is formulated to collect student math fact fact fluency data to create whole-class and individual student reports, including graphs.

The Common Core standards create an expectation of math fact fluency at a variety of levels. The following standards can be assessed through the use of this report.

K.OA.5
1.OA.6
2.OA.2
2.NBT.5
3.OA.7
3.NBT.2
4.NBT.5

Simply assess students math fact fluency by administering a timed test. Enter the students' data into the first sheet of the Excel Spreadsheet. The formulas already entered will take the data and fill it in, automatically to create individual student growth reports. These reports can then be used to view student growth, communicate with parents, and collect Response to Intervention data.

Within one download, you will get a class data sheet and 30 individual student growth reports. This can then be renamed, saved, and used for as many classes as you have.

Standards

Fluently add and subtract within 100 using strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction.
Fluently add and subtract within 1000 using strategies and algorithms based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction.
Fluently add and subtract multi-digit whole numbers using the standard algorithm.
Fluently add and subtract within 5.
Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10. Use strategies such as counting on; making ten (e.g., 8 + 6 = 8 + 2 + 4 = 10 + 4 = 14); decomposing a number leading to a ten (e.g., 13 - 4 = 13 - 3 - 1 = 10 - 1 = 9); using the relationship between addition and subtraction (e.g., knowing that 8 + 4 = 12, one knows 12 - 8 = 4); and creating equivalent but easier or known sums (e.g., adding 6 + 7 by creating the known equivalent 6 + 6 + 1 = 12 + 1 = 13).
