Students who shy away from reading words aloud, can now do so confidently.

Each word is color-coded by syllable to enable students to decode grade-level content with ease.

All students will enjoy these Halloween themed words; and students who need systematic reading instruction, in the general education classroom, will benefit from these color-coded words. Now they'll spell their words correctly!

Older students who may just need a reference page can use the 2-page word bank that is included at the end of this document, rather than using the larger word cards.

Each word is presented four different ways: divided into syllables, marked with sound and spelling rule symbols, blank with syllable scoops, and whole word.

Signage that outlines IDA KPS alignment included: (International Dyslexia Association Knowledge and Practice Standards).

1-syllable, 2-syllable, 3-syllable, 4-syllable, digraphs, trigraphs, blends, double letter, suffix, glued sounds, long vowel sounds, short vowel sounds, Bossy-R vowel sounds, diphthongs, schwa, nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs.

The word cards can be used in endless ways. Printing out the word cards on card stock and then laminate them for sustainable use.
