This word problem task card resource includes 24 task cards, each containing a one or two-step word problem asking students to count coins to find a total value, determine missing coins when given some coins in a group, determine whether or not there is enough money to buy a given item, and more. Problems require knowledge of the values of pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and dollar bills. A recording sheet and an answer key is included at the end of the file.
These cards are great for math center work, scoot games, or whole class use when displayed under a document camera. No matter how you use them, they are sure to keep your students thinking!
