What educators are saying

Loved this! I love how the kiddos got to have fun doing the coin rubbing but also had to write information about each coin. Age appropriate and approved by me(and the Kindergarteners!
I loved how this activity has two versions; allowing for differentiation between year 1 and year 2 students. I would highly recommend this activity to support teaching Canadian coins.

Description

These worksheets are a great way to get students thinking about coins and what they look like. These 2 easy-to-prep worksheets are perfect for reinforcing coin recognition and coin identification. Use these during your math center to focus on 4 coins at a time or just 1. Students will have fun while working on important money skills.

→The first sheet will focus on one coin. There is space to write the name of the coin, to do a rubbing of the front and back of the coin, and to write 3 things that they notice when looking at the coin.

→ The second worksheet has space to do 4 coin rubbings and to write the name of the coin to identify it.
