225 pages of student activities, Google Slideshows, detailed lesson plans, and teacher resources all ready to use! This product has just been updated! This is a Common Core aligned, fully integrated, highly engaging unit, inspired by Claude Monet's life and art! Many student activities are differentiated, and they span across subject areas and integrate Monet style art throughout! There are additional teacher resources and links included as well.

We have streamlined access so that on one easy-to-use planning document, you will find everything you need to implement this study, including 16 pages of detailed lesson plans, links to pdf printables, links to Google Slideshows, and links to other resources. Students, families, administration, and colleagues have been astounded by what students learn and produce in this unit, as well as their high level of excitement and interest. This rich, creative curriculum will motivate and meet the needs of all learners! This unit has been successfully implemented in classrooms that include students with special needs and English Language Learners from all over the world.

*We have used this Claude Monet Artist Study as one part in a series of many studies different artists from around the world. We are currently in the process of updating all of our Artist Studies, and we will post each updated unit as they are ready!

Measure the length of an object by selecting and using appropriate tools such as rulers, yardsticks, meter sticks, and measuring tapes.
Use addition and subtraction within 100 to solve word problems involving lengths that are given in the same units, e.g., by using drawings (such as drawings of rulers) and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the problem.
