Description

This quadrilateral attributes resource provides you with a printable file for supporting your students in learning the quadrilateral hierarchy.

Feedback on This Resource:

"Used this resource before a test. Students loved making this for their notes. This was my first time making a double-sided flip chart, but the directions were very helpful. "

This resource covers:

  • Quadrilaterals
  • Parallelograms
  • Trapezoids
  • Rhombus
  • Rectangles
  • Squares

Along with taking students through each step of the quadrilateral hierarchy, this resource will be a great reference for students as they learn to classify quadrilaterals.

The students will use this flip book to classify quadrilaterals by:

  • Measuring to find congruent angles
  • Measuring to find congruent sides (with fractional side lengths)
  • Comparing and contrasting all types of quadrilaterals to understand the attributes of each shape.

This resource will print out as a double-sided flip book that covers important geometry skills and breaks down the hierarchy of quadrilaterals.

This resource is available as a printable flip book and as a Google Slides resource. Google Slides can be downloaded as a PowerPoint for Microsoft users. Tutorial videos are also provided to support you with printing and assembling this double-sided flip book.

All files are in black and white for easy printing. This also allows the students to color and decorate their flip books if they'd like.

Understand that attributes belonging to a category of two-dimensional figures also belong to all subcategories of that category. For example, all rectangles have four right angles and squares are rectangles, so all squares have four right angles.
