Description
This is an ongoing take home writing journal.
Stage a package delivery to your classroom. In the box place a stuffed animal, writing journal, and special delivery letter enclosed in this packet. Your class will be instructed to name the pet and to care for it by taking turns with it while writing.
This is one of the most successful long standing writing activities that I have ever done with my class.
Everything you need to start this activity is included...just add a stuffed animal!
