Description
This civil rights movement lapbook allows students to explore the causes and effects of the civil rights movement. Students will investigate key events as well as key figures that moved the movement forward. They will also be examining the legislative gains of the movement and how the movement impacts our society today. The whole unit is meant to last 2-3 weeks in order to allow students enough time to research the causes and effects of the civil rights movement. All activities were created with the idea that students have been introduced to expository writing and research. Reading passages are not included!
