Description

Civil Rights Act: What did the Civil Rights Act do? What progress has been made?

This top-notch resource is included in the Civil Rights Movement Unit Bundle!

In this engaging, primary-source based resource, students complete a two-source analysis to learn what the Civil Rights Act promised in the Civil Rights Movement. A culminating writing assignment is included for students to show their understanding of both source excerpts, then an optional extension assignment is included for students to apply their learning to modern day where they investigate ways we are still struggling for true equality today. Students will scan included QR codes to research the topic using three relevant links to inform their opinion. Enjoy!

A teacher key and a Google 1:1 version are included!
