What educators are saying

These circuits always challenge my students, but they love it because they have the answers there already.
My students LOVE your circuits! They get so excited when they see we are going to do one! They are a great way to practice and know immediately if they are correct!

Description

Give your students great practice for their limits and continuity test with this 28-question review in the circuit format. To advance in the circuit, students must search for their answer, and when they find it, that becomes the next problem. This circuit covers limits of the indeterminant forms 0/0 and infinity/infinity (students can evaluate all limits in this circuit without technology and without calculus (L'Hospital's rule is not needed)). Additional questions feature removable and non-removable discontniuitites, piecewise defined functions, average rate of change and instantaneous rate of change.

I do not include an answer key with my circuits because the answers are embedded in the circuit. This circuit can be easily made into task cards or a scavenger hunt. The circuit is truly a mixed review, not progressive in nature and so students could technically start on any problem and complete the circuit.

NOTE: On one of the problems there's a mismatch of variables where I have a w and an x -- please change them both to x as you are working the circuit before you photocopy it for your students.
