Description

This circuit has 20 questions which all require chain rule. There are many different functions from power to trig, but there are no logarithms, exponential, nor inverse trig functions (written especially for those of you who teach late trancendentals). For some of the problems, students will just need to find the derivative and then search for it to advance in the circuit. For other problems the students will need to evaluate the derivative at a given value. There are a few questions which involve notation only with a table of values. None of these problems will require the use of a calculator.

My colleagues and I check our work very carefully, but should get stuck or suspect an error, please do not hesitate to email me at virginia.cornelius@gocommodores.org.
