Christopher Columbus' Journey

This Promethean Board Flipchart provides students with a history lesson on Christopher Columbus and his journey. The flipchart opens with a cover page and then lists the lesson's objectives. The lesson then moves to showing Christopher Columbus' ships and lists information on Columbus. The lesson then invites students to plan a journey for Columbus asking them what kinds of things they think he will need to take with him. The next page of the flipchart allows students to interactively drag and drop tools to the appropriate description. If your software permits, the flipchart provides a video on Columbus and a United States Puzzle for further activities. Last, the students are asked to review what they have learned.
