What educators are saying
Description
These Christmas activities will keep your kids engaged and working! Children read descriptive paragraphs that describe a Christmas ugly sweater. Children then color the Christmas ugly sweaters to match the adjective filled descriptions. Children can scan the QR codes to reveal the colored version to see how close they got! This resource now includes a "Digital Christmas UGLY SWEATER" read and self-check activity. You will still need to print the coloring pages that match from the PDF but I have included covers for the sheets and teacher notes. Download the preview to read more about the Christmas digital resource.
Children get lots of practice reading descriptive paragraphs. When they are done they can design their own sweater using the ugly sweater "plan it" paper then write their own descriptive paragraph.
You can set this up as early finisher activities, centers, 1 a day, or whole group! This can last 2 full weeks with 1 a day then the 3rd week work on the design a sweater and writing activity!
You can use their finished sweaters and descriptive paragraphs as an interactive bulletin board as children read others paragraphs and try to find the matching sweater.
QR codes are an option. Additional sheets are provided without the QR codes.

WHY SHOULD I USE QR CODES
You can read and learn more on using QR codes in the classroom and how they benefit you and your students by clicking on the links below. No, QR codes aren't YESTERDAY's NEWS. They are still very relevant and needed.
