Description

Do you need an engaging holiday activity that also develops reading comprehension and writing skills? This classic Christmas short story, Gift of the Magi, is accompanied by Common-Core aligned text dependent questions - both multiple choice and short response, in which students use text evidence to support character traits and theme.

This exercise can be used for reading centers, independent practice, or whole-group instruction.
