Kindergarten Christmas Reading Comprehension can be so hard to find!
These passages were designed specifically for emergent readers. I wrote these passages using pre-primer sight words. All other words in the text have pictures clues above them.
In order to build fluency, students are to read each passages three times. They should color an ornament each time they read.
There are two comprehension questions per passage. Answer options utilize picture clues as well. All answers can be found in the text. Students circle the correct response at the bottom.
A bonus "Christmas Reading Comprehension" journal cover is also included in case you choose to bind this set.
I've also included an EDITABLE version of the journal cover! You must have PowerPoint to edit the cover. Your students will love their personalized reading comprehension journal!
