What educators are saying
This was so much fun for me and the kids! They looked forward to the next time and wondered where we would "go". The pages were easy to print and the little craft for each country was enjoyed fully.
Love paper bag book projects. They are creative and engaging. The students love them as much as I do.
Description
Note: This unit is also sold in my Ultimate Holiday Writing Bundle which includes this pack, plus four additional writing projects for the holiday season!
Get ready…get set…to travel around the world. This unit will take you through 16 different countries to study how different cultures celebrate Christmas. You can choose to visit all or some, depending on the amount of time you have to incorporate this into your content. Just grab your plane ticket, and you’ll be on your way. No need to switch the plane ticket for each trip, because it is good for a flight around the world. Use the QR codes to access information about each location, complete the page in the interactive booklet, and if you are feeling creative, the craft/activity can come at the end. Once your study is complete, your students will have a complete book that will be perfect for holiday reading and sharing. They can use the craft piece to retell information and facts to their parents and friends. If they forget, they can always use the QR codes to research even further with their parents! This book also contains additional pages to study Kwanza, Hanukkah, Diwali, and Chinese New Year.
