These selections are written at a high fourth grade reading level but can be used in grades 3-5. Students can be divided into groups. Each group should be given a winter holiday to research. Then they are required to set up a holiday table for their classmates to learn about their assigned holiday. Then students take their passports and travel around the classroom, getting stamps and writing a fact about each holiday. So much fun and so informative!
