With this Christmas math craft, your kids will choose a number and write addition or subtraction facts that equal that number. They’ll write their facts on the cutest little elves and create a fun Christmas-y scene!
This Christmas addition craft (or subtraction craft!) is super easy to differentiate - help your kids choose a sum or difference at their level in order to find facts that they are able to work with!

Tips for use in the classroom:
✅Copy the addition or subtraction elves for your kiddos.
✅You can give your kids a number to use or let them choose one! They will write that number in their gingerbread house.
✅Then your kids will write facts that make that number! When I use this in my classroom, I have my kids write their facts on a sticky note or their marker boards (or you could even use scrap paper!). Once they have their facts, you can check them before they write on their final projects!
✅Have your kids color, cut, and glue their elves and gingerbread houses onto a piece of paper. Then write their facts!
✅These make a cute display too!
