Description
Christmas Addition Word Problems printables consists of 6 number stories for students to solve. In each of the worksheets students will solve addition word problems, and add within 10, by drawing pictures to represent the problem. Answer sheets are included for each number story. These Christmas Addition Word Problems are common core aligned for kindergarten. The worksheets would also suit first grade as a review activity!
In the addition word problems students read the problem and then solve it by drawing pictures. They then record their answer on the line below the picture.
These number stories printables assists students to develop their problem solving skills and addition strategies.
Variation: Students could also use hands on materials to help them solve each word problem.
