What educators are saying

These resources were lots of fun and allowed me to integrate art into the classroom, which I rarely get to do. Thank you!
My students and I love completing these at Christmas. We choose a template and then fill them in. We cut and laminate them and then place them on the wall.

    Description

Need no prep, Christmas activities for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders? These engaging, step by step art projects for Christmas use simple materials. Fun ugly sweater, Christmas ornament, elf, and stocking roll a dice art games will engage all learners. They’re perfect emergency art sub plans!

And, they’ll help time-starved teachers like you create December bulletin board displays. No more searching for fun Christmas projects, drawing templates, PowerPoints, and writing prompts online. Each art activity comes out different, too.

Choose between a dice game, ‘you pick’ worksheet, or digital spinners to pick patterns. Differentiate your instruction easily.

Can I tell you a secret? It’s hard to get kids writing in ELA. When they’re not invested in it, they can’t connect with what they’re writing about. Mic drop!

Incorporating creative art projects for Christmas will keep all kids engaged.

    WHAT'S INCLUDED

I’ve designed 3 different ways for students to attempt any of these Christmas art projects. All will motivate kids to create! Choose which way works best for your classes:

    • Roll a dice games to add randomness to your student’s artwork
    • “You Pick” art worksheets for kids to choose their own patterns
    • Digital spinner wheels, so kids can randomly pick elements and you can integrate technology
    • Printable dice template in case you have no dice
    • Drawing templates, for a Christmas ugly sweater, stocking, ornament, and elf hat. Kids can draw directly on it or transfer it to heavy drawing paper.
    • Step-by-step picture directions to guide students through the art process
    • Drawing practice worksheets, so kids can practice drawing patterns
    • Christmas writing prompts, so you can tie this drawing project to literacy
    • Christmas coloring sheets that you can use for absent students or hand out as a classroom prize
    • Helpful Tips & Tricks handout with teacher directions to help guide the lesson

    WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My students and I loved these Christmas activities! I had to teach it to several groups and I never got tired of it! We created something different every single time! I will use this every year!! :)

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My students love these so much! I love that you included not only a template for the designs, but a couple of completely drawn ones. It gives me more flexibility to use this resource with all my students, not just my gen-ed students. Thanks

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My kids loved doing the ugly sweater during our ugly sweater day at school! We are going to be using the other parts of the bundle over these two weeks before break starts!
