Description

This experiment was designed and performed by English as a Second Language students in a study skills class designed to support students in core classes (including, in this case, science). The experiment follows the scientific method and encourages students to think about how to design a quality experiment. Students blind taste test four different types of chocolate(milk chocolate, dark chocolate, mint chocolate and raspberry chocolate) and rate each on a scale of 1 to 10. This experiment not only supported students in their knowledge of science, it also tied into the novel we were reading: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
