Reading a good story is a strong motivator for language learning. This short original story is ideal for a Chinese immersion classroom or advanced Chinese students to practice reading comprehension and writing skills.

This product contains a vocabulary list, an original short story, a reading comprehension worksheet, an answer key and a creative writing section encouraging the student to continue the story.

How to Use:

For elementary students:

  • You can read the story in a small group or circle time and ask common core-based questions to check students’ reading and listening comprehension.

For middle schoolers or high schoolers:
