This is a 4th/5th Grade leveled reading passage that can be used to teach your students about the history of the Chinese New Year. It is an informational reading passage that covers standards in reading such as sequencing, main idea, using context clues, as well as inferencing questions.

This product includes one nonfiction reading passage, one page of multiple choice questions, one page of short answer questions, two pages of written response questions, and an answer key!
