Description

Incorporate math, culture, and writing with these engaging Chinese New Year Pattern Block Puzzles and Worksheets.

*ALL of these puzzles are to scale and will fit on 8.5 by 11 sized printer paper/mats.

The Chinese New Year Puzzles are a Dragon, Chinese Lantern, Firecrackers, and Oranges. Each puzzle has an easy puzzle and a more challenging puzzle as well as a fun fact. The easy puzzles shows what blocks to use and are great for Pre-K and Kindergarten. The harder puzzles only have the outline and are better suited for 1st Graders. You can even use the answer key puzzles for students that need extra assistance. Print on white 8.5 by 11 paper and laminate for durability. Black line pattern block pieces as well as colored pattern block pieces are provided. Colored answer keys (with watermarks) are also included. These watermarks are necessary to protect my work from copyright infringement.

NOW INCLUDING...supplemental worksheets that your students can complete for each puzzle. Each printable worksheet will allow your students to practice tracing and writing the puzzle word, count each pattern block used to complete the puzzle, and make a comparison of the amount of shapes used.
