Sometimes all you need for children's church is a lesson that takes the length of a sermon, and those can be hard to come by.
These children's church lessons are just that, they are flexible, age appropriate for prek-3rd grade, and utilize children's literature to connect to the Revised Common Lectionary readings. Lessons could be shortened or lengthened depending on your program's needs.
Each lesson includes a supply list, prayer, a book to read (books like A Big Guy Took our Ball, Llama Llama Mad at Mama and many other great books), questions to ask, and a responsive activity using simple materials. This curriculum is meant to be easily used by volunteers and busy clergy and staff, with little preparation if necessary.
