Children's Book Project- La ciudad (Guidelines, Rubric & Printable Booklet)

This is a full packaged project for the topic of "La ciudad". It will work with whichever vocabulary you have chosen to focus this unit on.

Each student will select a main character for his/her story and have the character travel around the city, visiting 10 locations. Students will have to say where the character is and explain what the character does in that location or describe the location itself.

Ex. ¿Dónde está Waldo? Waldo está en el restaurante. Waldo come treinta hamburguesas y quince pizzas.

The guidelines document lays out the requirements and the project timeline for the students. The rubric shows how the task will be scored and makes for easy grading! The booklet is great for printing off and giving students a place to complete their work.

Bonus file includes a list of vocabulary if you would like to have students research the meanings of these words and choose from this list for their books.
