Description
Introduction
In our previous lecture, we saw that children need to learn how to live with others. They have to be trained to function within some set-limits. This means that their behaviour has to be managed. To many parents, managing children’s behaviour is equal to discipline and is synonymous with use of the cane. Many associate indiscipline in school with banning of caning. But does managing children’s behviour require caning? Can one maintain discipline without use of punishment? Well, in this lecture we are going to discuss how children’s behaviour could be effectively managed.
