Looking to make a daily routine at the beginning of your Child Development class for the semester? Use these bellwork slides to allow your students to start the class period by thinking back to their childhood for one quarter, and fast-forwarding to parenthood for the second quarter. You will definitely get to learn more about your students each day!

You may choose to discuss these bellwork questions with your students at the start of class each day, have them create a daily journal via Google Slides, or have them write down their answers to create a paper journal. Students can come into class each day and type out the date, question, and their response on a new slide while you take attendance and prepare for the class. Then spend a couple minutes having them share their responses and stories (great way to get to know your students!) You could have your students submit their bellwork slides digitally at the end of each quarter if you want to award a grade. Or just go around and verbally ask the question of the day to every student everyday!

This product will open as two separate Google Slides. There are a total of 102 slides including instructions for the students and example slides, but there are 90 total question/scenario slides. It is very simple to add to or edit these Slides as you will have your own copy.
