Description

In this fun activity, student explore the roles of each branch of government for creating a law. The students are separated into the three branches of government. Each branch is given a set of bills and directions for how their branch is to react to the bill. The activity starts by having the Legislative Branch choose one of the bills they would like to pass. Next, the Executive Branch determines if the bill is good for the country and then the Legislative Branch checks the Constitution. In addition to the bills and directions, there is also a PDF/Flipchart representation for students to visualize the process of creating a bill.
